His handwriting is really improving. The inside of the Valentine's Day card he gave us:

For some reason this one cracked me up. It's a little hard to read. It was a project for Martin Luther King Day. It says "He had a dream." Awwww....

And this is just pretty. You can't tell here but it's three-dimensional and the heart stands about an inch tall. I need to find some kind of shadow boxy frame for it. I can't really believe that Leo rolled up all these little pieces of paper (sorry) but if they say he did, I'm gonna go with that.

Annabelle went to pre-school at our Jewish Community Center for a while. She came home with AMAZING art. Then she switched to a "development lab" at the local university. The artwork changed dramatically -- even though she was older, it was, um, well, worse. It took me a while to realize the teachers at the new place weren't lazy -- they just had the kids do the art themselves. It's a hard balancing act.... But it looks to me like Leo definitely rolled all that paper himself! Go Leo! Great art! (Sorry to BOYB.)
Wow! His handwriting is incredible. Even better in the last few months I'd say! And that heart is AWESOME! TOTALLY frame-worthy. Very cool.
I am so impressed, Maya! Wow! His penmanship is AWESOME. Way better than my kindergartners' penmanship, lemme tell you. Wtg, Leo, you're a rockstar!!
