Appreciation

"I want to make a card for my teacher," Ellie announced after dinner a few nights ago.

"Do you think it would be appropriate if I told her that I loved her?" she asked.

"You are the best techre (sic). I love you! Love Ellie."

I told Ellie I thought that would be just fine.
